Who We Are . . .

Bloom and Bound is a publishing house and dynamic creative studio that is passionate and dedicated to creating captivating and enchanting stories for readers of all ages! Our first book, The Pup with the Heart-Shaped Nose, will be released Fall 2025 and it is a love letter and thank you note from a girl to her dog.

Our Mission - and hope - is to inspire readers of all ages, from all walks of life with heartwarming tales that celebrate victories and inspire during challenging times. Bloom and Bound Publishing House is a place for words, art, and everything in between and, thanks to our acquisition of Maddaisy Creative, we will publish powerful stories that are expertly enhanced with art, design, and creativity that has the unique ability to bring words to life!

Storytelling has always been a safe place and welcome reprieve from the heaviness of life. The power between the pages is a magical thing. It has the ability to foster the love of reading at a young age and instill important values on every page. Each book is carefully crafted to spark imagination and warm the hearts of our readers!

Author/Publisher

Kaitlin Walsh

Kaitlin Walsh is a writer, storytelling enthusiast, and avid dog lover. She is at her happiest when she is reading, writing, or going on long walks surrounded by her four fur babies. Kaitlin's love of reading and writing was sparked at a young age, and she hopes her debut children's book will evoke the same passion, curiosity, and excitement for the children reading The Pup with the Heart-Shaped Nose. Her goal is to inspire, encourage and entertain with heartwarming tales!

Kaitlin lives in North Carolina with her partner, Matt and their four dogs (Decimus, Gator, Pip, and Sadie) aka: The Snoops.

Illustrator

Emily Mueller

Emily Mueller is a self-taught illustrator with a deep love of learning and storytelling. She finds joy in bringing stories to life through her art - especially those that light up children's imaginations and bring smiles to their faces. Passionate about creating illustrations that inspire wonder and happiness, Emily combines curiosity, creativity, and heart in every project she takes on.

She lives in North Carolina with her husband, their two children, and three lively dogs - her constant sources of love, chaos, and inspiration.
